Ok I'm finally telling some folks about these pages so I guess I'd better tell you all that I have no affiliation with Volvo in any way, and no formal training on how to work on these things.  All I use are Hanes and Bentley manuals and a little common sense plus information gleaned from Swedishbricks and alt.autos.volvo over the years.  The procedures shown on these pages have all been successfully and safely implemented.  Any time you work of vital components, i.e. brakes, steering, suspension etc you had better damn well know what you are doing or the results may be fatal.  These pages are no substitute for a good workshop manual and a good basic knowledge of how to twist a wrench.  I can accept no responsibility for your results and or damage to your vehicle.  If you e-mail me I will happily answer any questions if you keep in mind that I do not have all the answers and may very well be mistaken in my opinions.
