1: remove the bottom retainers, 1/4 turn and stick a small screwdriver behind and gently lever the plug out (slot should be straight up and down.) 2: these screws are hard to get at, instead of breaking things to get at them just push firmly at the upper corners and slide the pocket up, the door pockets should slide off the spacers easily. Remember firm but don't force them. 3: remove the 2 plugs and the 3 screws. 4: remove the door handle trim |
The armrest slides out after you rotate it like this and pull. Use your putty knife or screwdriver to GENTLY pry the door panel loose. This panel will have to be tilted slightly to get it out from under the mirror fascia. |
Here again just tighten, squirt, smear and spray everything that pivots, slides, rotates, or grinds. Pay special attention to the deep dark recesses and the window guides. Don't forget those door handle screws. This is a good time to clean the inside of the door pocket, panel and armrest. |
