OK here's the new harness ready to go into the turbo. I took a serious look at the access to the senders and such under the mainfold and decided there was no way I was going to get my hands in there. Removing the manifold is about a 1/2 hour job on a 240 T, a little longer on a LH car. |

This is the view with the intake pulled. There is no way I would have gotten in there with my fat old fingers. Plus in the shadows is a hose for the heater that looked like it haden't been changed since the car was new. I was also tempted to change all those sensors but that has to wait, they tested OK so I'll pass on spending that much money. The intake comes off really easily, just be sure to label every hose, I used a wire labeling kit with numbers on tape that I got from Granger to keep track of everything. Note the plugs in the intake ports, keeps crud and moisture out. |

A great trick is to bag everything that came off together and label the bag. i.e. intake bolts, idle air motor and hoses. Keeps everything organised and neat. |
